The wknd is nigh….

So thats another week over and done with!

Murphy went home yesterday. He was late and missed his flight but got another one.  Had a good week with him!!

This weekend is gonna be nuts. Agg’s mate Bondi is arriving today so there’s a session in itself…then tomorrow his brother is arriving…another session. Then sunday Jimmy James Clarkes girlfriend is having a pool party, then to the shed then to Ministry of Sound!! Day off on monday for the Foundation Day or something – BEACH!!

Have to try get more sun coz the lads are all black from being out on the site all day and poor ould me in an office is getting none!!

Ooopsy….

Didn’t realise it was 2 weeks since I last posted. Time flies eh?!

Well life has kind of settled down now.

Ciaran has settled in nicely with us. Stevo and Lewis moved in with 2 girls up in Joondalup. Stevo hasn’t got a job yet…. James Leo Scully and Birchall moved in with Phil from Tallaght and 2 other girls, Norma and Rebecca from Tallaght. They have a kip of a house around the corner from us in Mt.Lawley. The two girls got jobs straight off, theyre working for a bank. Birchall and James still havent got any. Scully has one starting next week. Phil started on Monday doing his plumbing and Leo is back in Ireland for a couple of weeks!!

A lot of people we were friends with in Perth have moved on now. So we’re in the process of recruiting new people!! Its not going too well! I met a lad Ive met in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and now here!! He works in our local sunday bar! Then I was talking to 2 girls I met in Sydney, then he comes over and he knows them? He was travelling with one of them all along….which means. She was also in Laos and that when we were there! Weird – small world….

The weeks usually consist of just getting up early, heading off to work, coming home from work and doing nothing then. Cinema on a tuesday. Maybe a few pints one of the other days but nothing much else….

Weekends have turned into crazy time. Friday to Sunday night flat out.

Last weekend there was a house-2-house beer run on in an estate nearby. Jimmy James Clarke’s girlfriend organised it. 55 people took part. Everyone pays 25 dollars. Theres a start line and a finish line. You had to wear green. The race starts at the 1st house, down a can and run to the next house for 10 houses!!! Hilarious!! Lots of vomiting and wretching!!

Ronan Murphy arrived on Saturday! He’s here til thursday. Feel a bit bad coz we’re all working early so we’re usually in bed early too!! Had a good day down The Shed on Sunday and we’re heading out tonight with him!!

We had a house inspection on Saturday too, we passed! Vas is delighted with us!

Em….think thats it.

Oh yeah, I hate my job. I do nothing all day which is very bad for morale and self-esteem. So ive been steadily applying for new jobs and that doing Oracle. Fingers crossed…

I’ll try be more consistent with this (Cliona)…and seeing I do nothing all day anyway I’ve no excuse!!

The agony of it all…

Happy Monday!

So that was a mental weekend. Stevo, Ciaran adn Lewis arrived on Thursday. That meant we had 7 people extra in the house. So the weekend was alchohol fueled and a lot of fun. It was really good to catch up the boys. And they get on really well with the Tallaghtban so its hunky dorey.

Ciaran started work on the same site as the lads today and I think Birchall may have a job with them too. So the other lads are on a big house hunt and job hunt today. Hopefully it’ll go well for them.

Im in work right now. Obviously Im really busy. Was absolutely hanging today -the wknd had taken its toll….feel ok now though…

Tonight is gonna be a quiet one!!

Settled!

K, I got a job. Started there on Monday. Im a It Project officer for the Communications Technology Development Section of the Department of Industries and Resources of the Government! Its kinda boring but money is money!

Same old thing is happening here, mentalness at the weekend and pretty tame during the week!

Still having a fab time.

James Leo Birchall and Scully arrived on my doorstep last night, great to see them after 16 months!!
