Birmingham

So went to Brummie land last weekend!

Kerry dropped us to the airport at 5am. Met Phil Ed Ray Shell and Darryl there. Had a pint, got the flight, were in Brum for 7.30am.  They got a taxi to their hotel. Me and gez got the bus to our hostel. Hostel was a dump and couldnt check in til 2pm. We dropped our bags in and went for a walk. Looked at some sights then found a Wetherspoons that was open!Sat there and had pints, the rest came along eventually. Then Millman and Liam turned up. Had some more pints. Then went to another bar, more pints. Went home then for a nap and a sshower. Then got a tacxi to the pub where millmans 21st was on. Great night! Lots of fun!!

The next day we got up and met the lads in wetherspoons again. Then went to Broad St and found a pub showing the FA Cup final. Watched that and got hammered. Again me and gez went home for a shower and a nap. Then went out and met Tracys cousin and her mates. Went to a club called Snobs which was class. Went home at 3am as we were up for the plane at 6.

Got up the next day and threw our keys at the hostel. Got a taxi to the airport. Found out our flight was cancelled due to volcanic ash. Got a monorail and a taxi to the train station with a elderly couple and a chick from Clare. Got a rail and sail ticket and got the train to Crewe, then train to Holyhead then the slow boat home. had great fun all the way home. Phil was on fire all weekend!!

So still knackered from all that!

The story….

Hello.

I haven’t posted in 7 months….now thats laziness!!

So in short…

Got booted out of Oz, didnt pick up a ban which was great. Went to Bali with Aaron and Birchall. Twas 2 weeks of utter madness. Then flew home on my own which was probably the worst travelling experience I’ve had. At Bali airport for 3am, wasn’t allowed into the building til 5! Had to sit on a kerb. Then flew to KL, got there at 9am, flight to Abu Dhabi wasn’t til 9pm! It was the most bored I have ever been. Even went to the Petronas towers again but was too hot to walk around!! Arsed around anyway, flew to Abu Dhabi, 2 hours there, then got home at 8am Irish time. 38 hours altogether travelling…zzz.zzz snorefest.

I went on the dole then for 5 months! Had loads of fun on that. Applied for loads of jobs, did some interviews, went fishing, hillwalking, worked for my dad and got drunk! Eventually got a job in March with Xerox.

Since I’ve been back I’ve been to more places!

- Offaly for 2 nights fishing – didnt see much, it rained! No fish caught…

- Killarney for 3 nights for new years. Got hammered, saw some local pubs!

- Frankfurt for 3 nights – Saw loads of things, went ice skating, some cool clubs, stayed with Martina.

- Notthingham for 2 nights – went to Nottingham Forest match!

This weekend Im off to Birmingham for Millmans birthday with Gez and a few of the Tallaght lads.

Next weekend I’m in Liverpool for a lads weekend!

The idea now is that I update this whenever I go away coz it’ll probably be a lot with me working now and flights being so cheap!!
