10 days til Bali, woooooooooooo. Cant wait!! The weekend just gone went like this…

Friday – We sat in!! First time ever! We were budgeting our weekend for Bali! Went to bed rediculously early….

Saturday – All up at 7am. Went into the city with Birch and A-Bone, got a yummy breakfast. Got some flights booked, got some shipping information. Came back and went to the beach as it was a scorcher. 30 degrees it was! After that we went for a beer in the Beach Road Hotel then went to ours and got smashed up.  Half a keg of Heino and a bottle of Passion Pop…well on the way. We then went to some nightclub on oxford street then on to courthouse. Was a fun night!!

Sunday – Got to Coogee after some car trouble. It was 30 again. Roasting. Coogee was madness. People boozing everywhere. We sat on the grass beside the beach and had some beers. We then went to Maries house for the balcony party! Was a good laugh.

So…the news….got a phonecall from immigration yesterday saying they are refusing my visa on the grounds of no evidence for my specified farm work. It was a funny phone call of me trying to wing it. the dude knew what I was up to but obviously couldn’t say it! so basically I have 28 days to leave the country…booooooooo….screw you Australia…bit of a mare seeing its coming into summer. I’d love to stay for another summer!! But because Im going to bali I wont be able to get back into the country after so I have no choice but to go home! So from bali im flying to Kuala Lumpur and then to Abu Dhabi and then to Dublin!! I will be home on the 5th of October and then I’ll be bored….and then there will probably be no point in keeping up this blog until………I save up enough to feck off to South and Central America!! Anyone wanna come???

So this weekend is my last in Australia

So I’m having a Deportation Party!  A Hooley with Healy! Although technically Im not being deported,  I’ve been asked to leave which apparentely is a different thing. Because Im leaving on my own accord within the specified time they are giving me, Im not breaking any laws so wont pick up a ban from Australia.

If you ask me, I got a good innings. the last 5 months were pure luck. Ive seen a lot more of the world than most people and Ive seen more of Australia than most Australians!!! For my last blog posting in Australia next week Im gonna have all my stats for the entire trip! Its should be interesting.

But Im also delighted I can add a new country to the list at the bottom! Indonesia! and a new stamp in the passport!!!

I handed in my notice today. My boss was dead sound about it. he said there’ll always be a job here for me, if I got my Skilled Migrant Visa for example. He’s gonna give me a sweet reference and he’s gonna get in contact with a mate of his in Oracle Ireland to see if there’s anything going for me!! So im finishing up work on Friday. bye bye Oracle ANZ. I have next week off then to get everything organised like shipping stuff home like clothes and my guitar. I gotta organise my tax and super annuation back – KACHING. About 10k between them I reckon!! Loads of other things too!!

So the end is nigh…………party in Skerries when I get back!!

The Waiting Game…

Hi low.

So pretty uninteresting week just went past. Nothing too fun or too exciting happened apart from…Me Birchall and Aaron have booked Bali. We are flying out on the 25th September for 9 nights. Back on the 4th October. There are some constraints to this trip which y’all needn’t worry yourselves with. All you need to know is its happening and its going to be AWESOME. Bali is in Indonesia, its an island. Has legendary surfing beach called Kuta beach. Has the biggest waterpark in Indonesia. Has some excellent scuba diving spots. And its dirt cheap and very warm!!!

The weekend was like this…

Friday – Just went out with Phil and the boys for Phils last night in Sydney. Got smashed, made a mistake, went to bed.

Saturday – Quite hungover, went surfing with Aaron all morning. Reaped the consequence of my mistake. Then we all went for a walk!? Then we dropped Phil to the airport, said our goodbyes and went home and started boozing. Just went out to Pj’s and got smashed. Didnt even go anywhere after. All I remember was me and Aaron up raving at 5am with out shades on??

Sunday – Woke up with Aaron with me in the bed and Faygo was back!! Went and booked Bali, had some lunch then hit the Beach Road Hotel with the lads and Dave Sheehy. Had a few nice scoops in the sunshine!! Then got a Crust pizza and watched a movie, was in bed for 8 I think!!

Michelle also came back with Faygo. She’s living with us now.

Spring!

Hello

I forgot to post last week. My bad.

So last weekend…

Thursday – We went out for dinner with Eoin Hand and a few pints coz we were supposed to be away for the weekend and he was going to Mudgee on the Sunday so we wouldnt have seen him.

Friday – was very tired. Figured that our weekend away wasnt going to happen so went straight to the pub after work. Decided amongst ourselves to have a party then for Eoin on Saturday night.

Saturday – we cleaned the house. We all got lunch and ate it out in the sun, it was nice. We then stocked up on the booze and started drinking at 3.  Then loads of weird people came to the party. Dont know who they were. We were gonna go to the Sheaf then. But that didnt happen. Then we just kept drinking in ours. Me phil aaron birchall and fiona played a game in Faygos room when we were drunk (dont tell faygo) where we turned off the lights and you had to spin in a circle. it was soooooo much fun, falling everwhere. Then fiona hurt herself. then aaron didnt care. then they had the biggest fight ever. She punched him lots. He hads bruises and scrapes from her! she’s mental. we then got her to go home. then the fun continued. We walked to the shop to get smokes at 3 am. Its a 5 min walk, there and back. It took us nearly 2 hours. We played the spinny game on the park, we put aaron in a clothes bin, we climbed trees. We were like 5 year olds. I had so much fun. Barry O Mahoney is one of the funniest men alive!!

Sunday we just cleaned, beached, pinted, I was home at 8 though coz im a good boy.

The week was pretty dull. Was in late most nights coz it was end of quarter…zzz zzz

Last weekend we…

Friday – went for dinner in the bookies, had a few bets, then accidently got smashed! was a fun night.

Saturday – Went to DFO in the morning in Aarons Lude. Didnt buy anything. They had a Subway though which we took full advantage of!! Came back and went out to Paddington Bowls club. Had a few beers there. Then went to the Lord Dudly and then the Bellevue Hotel and then the London and then we got roadies and walked to Fringe bar. So it was a mini pub crawl of paddington. Then we went to the Courthouse! Havent been there in a while. it was Millmans last weekend so got all the tunes played in the courthouse, then got pieface and went home!!

Sunday – did feck all all day. Went to CBH for a bit. Then went and saw Inglorious Basterds, what a movie!!!

In other news. Faygo and Michelle are back on Sunday! Millman is leaving today back to Birmingham – BYE BUDDY. Im heading out for lunch again today with work to some posh place for end of quarter. My brother Graeme is at home, first time in 4 years or something?! He brought his wife – HA.

Nothing much else happening.

So…..news.

Faygo and James got home ok! All the boys were out together for the first time in a long time on Friday night. Obviously not all seeing Im here and Birchall is here and Weir is in NYC but the majority of them!

Eoin Hand is off to a beautiful hick town of Mudgee for 3 months on Sunday!

The Healy family got home on Monday at long last. Mam was exhausted. And when they got home my little bro Dara had the gaf in ruins for them! Lovely!!

The weekend in Cairns was good!!

Called over to Sineads on Thursday, had a few beers and went to bed early as we were up at 4.30 the next morning.

Friday – Got a taxi to the airport. Flew to Cairns, got there at 10am! Nice and warm. Went and checked in to hotel and went for a walk around the place. Had lunch and a few beers. Back to hotel and had a nap. That night we went out for dinner then hit Gilligans and the Woolshed! Great fun.

Saturday – Were up at 7am for the reef cruise. It was the exact same one I went on last time. It was cool. Good food, good crew, great weather! Came home, had a nap, then out for dinner. Went to PJ’s, watched the football then back to the woolshed again! Great night! Got smashed.

Sunday – Had to check out at 11. So went for a wee walk, got breakfast. Had a few lunch time pints then back to the airport. Bleedin knackered getting home!!

This week hasn’t been too busy. Not much going on. We were all set on going on a surf camp this weekend coming. I had 14 people ready to go and I rang all the camps but they all dont start back til September coz its “too cold” apparantely?? haha yeah right. So then I found a good tour to Port Stephens in which you can swim with sharks, go dolphin watching, sandboarding, 4WD sand dune tour, all accomodation and dinners for 289 dolla. People were interested at first but then started dropping like flies so now we’re not doing anything   well we’re meeting tonight and gonna figure out some thing fun to do on Saturday….

Hello!!

Not much happening these days. Tis all quiet on the western front.

The weekend gone there was a good laugh.

Thursday – Went to Cargo Bar after work. There was an MTV party on for some new TV show. We got in VIP with Tino. It was fine, free booze, free food, mixing with the elite of society!! Didnt stay too late…

Friday – Had a few beers in the house after work then went to Tea Gardens and got smashed with the lads. It was fun!

Saturday – was a tad hungover all day. Went to Strike bowling with Sinead at 3 for Sonias birthday! Was doing jagerbombs by 5pm!!! IT was a lot of fun. Then we went to the Casino, didnt stay out late. In bed by 12!

Sunday – We were up early. City2Surf was on. Its a run from the city centre to Bondi Beach. We went down to bondi and had a look round – 80000 people in bondi is a bit mental!!! We were in the bungabar by 1pm. Had a lot there, then went to the CnB for food around 6. Was absolutely hammered and in bed by 10pm!!!

Yesterday was a disaster in work, I was dying!!!

Heading to Cairns on Friday – very excited!! Its 30 degrees up there at the mo, which is amazing. My parents are there at the moment and loving it!!

Pearl Jam tickets are on sale in one hour and 13 mins! I’ll be first in the queue!!

And then there were 2…

Good week it has been, well kind of. On the bad side, James and Faygo went off last night. Theyre spending a week in LA/San Diego/Frisco and then heading home. James is gone for good while Faygo is on a 3 week holiday… Faygo should be back!! So that leaves me and Birchall as the only Skerries boys left….booooo

On the good side – I got my tax back – sweet!!!

Weekend went like this.

Thursday – Got a random call from Birchall saying he was going for a pint after work. So I went into him and Eoin Hand and had a beer, follwed by a few more beers. Then Aaron and Fiona and Dave and Barry and the girls came out! Got smashed!! Didnt get home til all hours….

Friday – not a fun day, very tired!! Got home from work and everyone was boozing in my house. So we had a little party and hit the tea gardens – hard. Got smashed again!!

Saturday – was up early – tax back was in the account so went shopping all day. Bought loads of stuff. Went to Paddington with Sinead, bought some more stuff. Then Saturday night was James’ going away party. Went to the Bavarian Bier Gardens in the Rocks. Had the litre Steins! yummy! After we went to a club called never mind, bit of raving, then courthouse. Went home and fell asleep on the couch as someone wouldnt answer their phone. The guys came home and had afull blown rave in the sitting room with me on the couch! Never heard them!!

Sunday – was up early to go to the boat show in Darling harbour. It was cool!! Saw class boats, millions and millions of dollars worth. Then we went to the Chinese Gardens, then the Ferris Wheel. then we met the boys and went for pints in the sun in Darling Harbour. It was cool. James and Sinead ended up getting smashed. Us 3 went on the monorail after then headed to the Sheaf. Dave and Darcy came down and we stayed there til pretty late, was a good night!!

Tuesday night – went to the Eastern for steaks and beers which is kind of the custom now for people who are leaving. Selda, Kate and Carly came down too, we had a lot of fun!!

Tonight I am heading to Cargo bar, we got VIP tickets to an MTV party which Ruby Rose is DJing. She is a hot lesbian. My goal is to get a photo with her and/or convert her to being straight!! Free drinks and canopes!!!

Dont know whats happening this weekend yet – free for all as Phil is back!?

I booked the flights to Cairns, booked the 5 star hotel in Cairns and booked our reef trip. The weather there is about 29 degrees so it’ll be a great weekend!!!

I have photos from all the weekend there but I am flat out here in work so gotta get cracking….

So the last week has been exhausting – its hard entertaining!!

Thursday – had a huge barbeque in the house. 7 different varietys of meat!! Got a good few people over for it. Tony shouted everything so it was all good! Had fun

Friday – Was up early to go to the Blue Mountains with my folks and bro’s. Stayed in a place called Katoomba. It was nice. The mountains are good to look at. Had a few beers during the day on my own! Went out for dinner that night, few more beers. Then I had my own hotel room so went back after and had a few by myself!! Is that sad?!

Saturday – Up early, saw more of the mountains then drove to the Jenolan Caves, they were really cool. Was back in Sydney for 6 then. Got changed and went and met Sinead Kim and Ash. We just went bowling and had a few drinks. Was home early enough.

Sunday – I was supposed to go to Palm Beach (Home & Away) with the folks but I got out of it. Christmas in July was on. Sineads sisters organised a huge dinner in Durty Nellys. We booked out the whole restaurant. Dinner was gorgeous! Met Claire whom I used live with, good to see her! We then got smashed. In bed by 8.30 smashed!! Work was not fun yesterday!!!

Monday – Groggy as fcuk going in. I stayed in Sineads so had to get a taxi home at 6 in the morning or something rediculous like that! After work I went to Chatswood, got herself and DB collected us. Went over to his house where the folks were staying. We went out for dinner in a chinese in Hunters Hill. It was YUM. Said my goodbyes and went home after. Tony gave us a few quid too! Happy days!!

So theyre off to Melbourne for a few days, then flying up to Brisbane and getting a camper van and driving to Cairns!! Then to Singapore and then home – some holiday!!

I got an email off my accountant yesterday – my tax return has been lodged. So hopefully this week there will be 6197 dollars lodged in my account!! HAHA!! Gonna go bananas. Here’s my list

1. The obvious – booze and clothes

2. Hiring an immigration lawyer for my skilled migrant visa

3. Going to Cairns on the 14th August with Sinead for a wee holiday

4. Might buy an iPhone

5. I’ll think of something else to do!!

Yeah we were gonna go to Ayers Rock as I havent been there yet but it was working out at 2 grand for a weekend – good luckskies said I. Sinead hasnt been to Cairns so we’ll head up there, works out at 500 bucks for the weekend or something. Gonna do the reef on the saturday and skydive on the sunday morning! Staying in gilligans – PARTAYYYYYYY. Should be fun!!

In other news, we may be coming upon a mass exodus of my friends going home – im not happy about it for a million reasons but cant do anything, im not going anywwhere but may need to downsize the mansion….

Weekend went like this

Friday – Stayed local, just a couple of beers.

Saturday – Came home, did jobs, went to airport. Cried when I saw my mam, delighted to see them. Went back to Patricias house with them. Had a chat. I had to leave. Took 2 hours to get back to my house. Was out by 8.30 for Murphys going away. got cheapo drinks in the Bourbon. Then hit Cargo. Had a mad night in there. Most fun Id had in ages. Got the final photo of us skerries boys together…which Dave hasnt put up yet so ill post it another time.

Sunday – went to bridge climb at 12. Somehow passed the breathalyser!! It was cool up there. Then we went back to mine. Then all of us went for dinner in Hurricanes – yum yum yum

Monday – met the folks after work with Sinead. Went for dinner in Balmain then to the imax to watch Harry Potter.

Tuesday  – Went out to Patricias for dinner after work

Wednesday – went out to the Eastern with Gez who was meant to fly home today but got his flights mixed up so he was actually supposed to fly home yesterday (wednesday). So he’s going tomorrow instead. Then we went to Woolies and bought a load of meat and salads for the bbq!

Tonight we’re having a huuuuge barbeque, invited loads of people.

Tomorrow Im off to the blue mountains for the night!!

Hope all is well. This week is flying by which is a good thing!

So my parents are in New Zealand at the moment – they are loving it…the kids are skiing everyday!

Mam didnt like Bangkok. She thought everyone was just staring at the kids…which is right I suppose. Most westerners who go to Bangkok are adults, theyd rarely see small blonde kids!? Any way they lost their bags too. They got them back….Then 2 days later they flew to New Zealand. On landing Dad remembered he forgot to get the money out of the safe….how much money dad?! 5k Aussie dollars……?……amd 5k NZ dollars….!? WTF Dad?! How do you forget 10 grand!?!?

Anyway he got it sorted, the money is being transferred back to him….idiot!

Then I was talking to him this morning, he got a ticket in new zealand for speeding while drinking a cup of tea! haha… well im looking forward to seeing them on Saturday even though their trip has been a disaster!!

My weekend was super fun and went like….

Friday – We had a half day in work and went bowling and free beers! I got pretty drunk there, it was fun! Then I went home and called for Sinead. We headed into The Bourbon in the Cross for 3 dollar vodkas! Everyone turned up there! I mean everyone!! Got smashed there. Then the girls went on to Fringe. Me Aaron and Ash got some cans and walked to Fringe. Got there and had one drink before getting evicted?! Went to the courthouse then, was there for a little bit before Kim got up on to one of the tables dancing then we got booted out of there….not going well for us!!  Went to Hungry Jacks, Sinead started puking…it was hilarious!!! Got her home anyway…

Saturday – Some of us were a bit rough! Some weren’t!! Arsed around for the day, did nothing special. Me and Eoin Hand went over to Aarons. Got smashed on a bottle of Jim… Headed back into the cross. Were supposed to meet the lads in the sports bar but couldnt get in, we were fine, just told us we had to much? So went to a bar til the boys came out… went up and queued for candys!! Seeing that this was a weekend of getting thrown out and not getting in, I foresaw that Candys wasnt going to go too well…its hard to get into on a good night. So me and Birchall were asked to leave the queue before we even got to the top!! NIGHTMARE… so we went to OMalleys. James joined us after a while, couldnt get in either…

We went back an hour later, Murphy and Faygo were in there already and brought out some girls to get us in. James went in. Me and Birch werent bothered at this stage so went to the courthouse. Met up with Marie and them there…had fun!! I went back to Sineads around 4…

Sunday – didnt do much all day. Went cinema, strolled around the shops…

Went to see Bruno last night and a few drinks. I was a bit shocked at it!! Not your usual film! He is a brave man!!

So Im seeing it all over facebook, the news, the radio about this Michael Jackson Tribute. Coz of the time difference it was on at 4am here…. So we wont get to see it til tonight… is it good?!

So its baltic here. I think Im sick again, the MAN flu is back. And the fact Sinead had it aint helping. the weekend gone went like…

Friday – met Sinead after work, it was her date night as inshe had to think it up. Traformers in the IMAX – YES!! Went over and it was sold out…booooooooo. Went and got drunk instead in the Slip Inn and the Paddo…

Saturday – did jobs all day. Then sat in for the first or second time ever. Me Aaron James and Emma watched a few DVDs. Faygo and Murphy were meant to go out but they had been drinking all day on the boat fishing. came home at 6 and fell asleep. They woke around 11, bit late for them then…

Sunday – did nothing…

Pretty quiet weekend all round!!

Not much happening this week either. Phil is off to NZ on friday

My parents and brothers left Ireland today. Their flight from Dublin to London was delayed so they missed the connecting flight to Bangkok. And it was late in London so I think the Qantas office was closed, i.e. nobody to help. So I dont think they were getting put up in a hotel. not Cool. I reckon Tony is going ape shit. It means they only have 2 days in Bangkok now, and Dad was really looking forward to it!
